 🐾 Mr. Gray: The Quiet Shadow

Scrollkeeper Notes: Mr. Gray—once called Rocky, because he loved to play fight. He chose Nosy as his sparring partner, even though Nosy was bigger. But over time, Husband started calling him Gray, and it fit. His fur is silky-soft, gray with a whisper of tabby hidden deep inside.

He’s smaller than Nosy, but tougher than most. No fiend gets past him. He loves the outdoors, and when he returns, he tells Nosy, “Your turn. That blonde cat is mine.” Unlike Nosy, he never comes back hurt. He’s a gentleman. A strategist.

He enters my room slowly, meowing like, “You here, Nana?” Then he jumps up, says his hellos, and if the mood strikes, lies on me like the rest of the boys. Once he’s had his loving, he heads to the Eldest daughter’s room to say hi.

He’s loyal. Kind. But when Nosy calls, he answers. “Let’s do this, Nosy.”
