πΎ Angel: The Diva Has Entered the Chat
Scrollkeeper Notes:
They wanted another dog. I didn’t say much—but they still asked me to name her. So I named her Angel. And then… she revealed herself.
Jealous? Absolutely. If someone pets Jaxson, she barks until you notice her. If you’re talking and she’s not the topic? She’ll let you know. “Be quiet, Angel,” we say. She gives us the look—the “PET ME TOO” glare.
Once, my husband turned his back to her while she was on my bed. She nipped him on the, well… lower back. He spun around, and she stared like, “Excuse me. I’m here. Not over there.”
She once used a stepstool to get to the cat’s food on the dining table. She splashed in the water bowl like it was a spa. Now that the bowl’s in my room, all I have to do is give the eye—and she behaves. Mostly.
She hates grooming. If my eldest daughter even thinks about the flea comb, Angel runs to her dad and gives Daughter the “You can’t get me, nanananana” look. She’s a diva. She’s clever. And she absolutely knows what we’re saying.
And somehow, she’s still sweet. That’s Angel.
