🐾 Vault Chamber FGC4: The Blanket Bond & Summer Scratch Saga

Jaxson didn’t want to be held. That’s not his style. But he still found his way to me—under the blanket, touching my leg, claiming our favorite spot like it was sacred. He didn’t need words. Just presence.

Last night, he turned down a Cheeto. That’s not like him. He loves them. But maybe his belly was off. The heat’s been creeping in, even with the AC humming. One unit gave out, the other’s working overtime. It’s cool in here, but maybe not cool enough for him.

This morning? He was back to himself. Wanted my Pop-Tarts. Angel was there too, watching like a diva waiting for her cue. These pets—they’re something else. Sometimes I wonder who’s more dramatic: kids of any age, or the furry ones who steal our snacks and our hearts.

πŸ›️ Comfort Notes:

  • Jaxson: The Pop-Tart prince, the blanket burrower, the sensitive soul
  • Angel: The diva dog with scrolls yet to be written
